About CLC Youth LIFE

Our mission at CLC Youth Group is to train up and empower teens to become what God has called them to be, by laying the foundation of Jesus Christ in their hearts. We believe this generation is tired of the "standard church life", and refuses to accept being looked down on because of their age (1 Timothy 4:12). They have a powerful voice and will be a generation of leaders, and we want to encourage them to use their voices, be bold in their faith, and build a strong foundation in the Word of God through discipleship and teaching the Word.

Our goal is to lay foundations for our teens to know:

- How to read & understand the Bible

- Who Jesus is in His entirety

- What Jesus accomplished on the cross

- Who we are in Jesus

- What we have access to as believers

- Who the Holy Spirit is

- How to move in the gifts of the Holy Spirit

"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames."
